Driving the Nissan Leaf EV.

I got to drive the new Nissan Leaf last week. Here’s film of the car, the journey and talking to Nissans EV staff.

On another note, great news that the new Government has stuck with the £5000 subsidy (or at least for some of the intended investment). Fantastic as these family cars are, they need subsidies to help reach prices that are realistic for most people to even consider switching to electric drive.

  1. Whoa! Very nice video on the Leaf- I think your initial 10-second blip showing the legroom for the 6’3″ gentleman spoke volumes about the Leaf being a regular car- nice intro! It sure does look fun to drive, you lucky son-of-a-gun;-) Thanks for sharing your experience with it.

  2. Thanks for your continued support and comments Paul. You know, it really was a great car and amazing to be in the first vehicle that you could imagine any family using without much fuss. Just a proper car with great technology and safety features. As time goes on I want one more and more! Thanks for your note on Primetime EV too – understood. I’ll try some stuff I guess for now. The great thing about doing this vlog is that I get to experiment and publish when I can / or want. Having that freedom is very liberating, and getting feedback is an important part of the process.

  3. Your vlogs are fun and informative- you may not post as often as other blog sites, but what you post is generally well worth the wait- this remains one of my favorite sites to visit;-) Keep up the good work, and y’all have a good week over there;-)
